Final results are published now. The winner was Christopher Dancer, well over 4 minutes up on his handicap time, followed by Sarah Drew then Chris Jekiel.
Kudos also to Dan Bagley who recorded a sub-15 minute lap, which we believe is the first by a club member. Unfortunately times in virtual races don’t count for records purposes but this is a remarkable achievement.
After two races, it’s tight at the top, with George Kujawinski leading by just 4 points from Paul Edwards, with a bigger gap down to Richard Jones and Anna Critchley.
We don’t know yet whether it will be possible to hold the final race in the usual way or whether it will be another virtual race. The committee will be making a decision in early September based on the latest advice at that point.
