Training

Club Runs

We are currently meeting on only Monday nights.

All members must still book onto Monday night club runs, Tuesday night Track and Friday night Pub Runs. The club is still required to share contact details with Test and Trace if requested.

A weekly email will still be sent with a link to Eventbrite and a reminder to book on to sessions.

There’ll still be a duty runner on Monday nights, and a steady paced group lead.

There is no longer a limit on numbers attending Monday night club runs (or Friday night pub runs).

Places available for Tuesday Track will be increased from two groups of 12 to one group of 30.

There are no pre-assigned Monday night pace group leads, and pace group sizes are not limited.

We have a range of groups which generally run for between 45 minutes and an hour at anywhere from 6 to 10 minute mile pace. These are fairly informal and routes tend to be decided on the night. We have a duty runner to ensure everyone is made welcome and they will either find new runners a suitable group or run with them initially.

In the summer we tend to run to Radcliffe-on-Trent and beyond, or along parts of the Grantham Canal. In the winter, routes are through Edwalton, West Bridgford and the city centre.
