Worksop Summer League Results

Our senior men and women both took another win at Worksop and hold healthy leads going into the final race at Teversal on 7th August. Our vets teams are both in very tight tussles for series victory. The men saw their series lead cut back dramatically by Mansfield to just 11 points, and the women have slipped narrowly into second place by a mere 6 points. So it’s all to play for, let’s make sure we get the best possible turnout at Teversal!

The Worksop results are now out on the Notts AAA website.

Grand Prix Final Results

We’ve spent a few days running through the results again and checking video of the final race.

It can be a complicated process, so we should thank all those who’ve spent their many hours getting the results done in the first place and compiling the final set of results.

So here are the final results. The full set is on this year’s results page.

Summer League at the Water Sports Centre, Wednesday 12th June

The Summer League resumes this Wednesday, 12th June at the National Water Sports Centre, Holme Pierrepont. It’s a flat 5 mile course taking in the path around the lake and the lane. Let’s keep our great start to the season going with another strong turnout. If you’re not running, we still need help with marshaling. Please note that there is a £2 charge for parking levied by the Water Sports Centre which we have no control over.

Dream Mile Results 2019

Philip Nind was first over the line in 4:39, closely followed by Oliver Matharu. Four runners broke 5 minutes. It was great to see over 50 runners taking part.

Summer League Race 2 (Flowserve, Newark)

What an amazing turnout from the club for the 2nd Summer League race at the Flowserve Sports & Social Club in Newark on Wednesday. This race is now a certified 10k road race, which meant everyone had to shuffle back a fair bit on the night to accommodate what seemed like a record turnout! This made the out and back course seem even narrower than usual but this didn’t daunt our crew. PBs were recorded by many and the results speak for themselves with HP coming up top for all four Senior and Vet teams for both Men and Women on the night and in the overall standings so far.
